How do people get to be that good ??
They get to be that good because they PRACTICE !!

Everybody has heroes, people who have reached heights that 'mere mortals' can only dream of. If you're a musician, you can probably rattle off a list of players who leave you in awe, whose playing puts you in that strange state-of-mind where you feel like giving up music altogether ... and yet somehow, at the same time, you can't wait to get to your instrument and play for hours!!
Actually, there's a little more to it than that. Just spending a lot of time isn't good enough; you have to know HOW, WHY, and WHAT to practice.
Rhythm Knowledge is a practice-management system. Developed by Mike Mangini, it is a compilation of the experience gained through almost thirty years of practice and performance.
and speaking of performance ...

Mike teaches at Berklee, and has worked with Gary Cherone, Steve Vai, James LaBrie, Extreme, Annihilator, Dale (Missing Persons) Bozzio, Steve Perry (Journey), Steve Lynch (Autograph), and on ... and on!

The Rhythm Knowledge System deals with the practice and performance of music, with the primary focus on rhythm.
Volume One: It's Easy When You Know HOW, shows you how your whole life affects your music, and helps you to make sure that the effect is POSITIVE. Volume Two: It's Easy When You Know WHAT, presents a series of exercises which have helped to propel Mike Mangini onto the top tier of the world's drummers.
